American Women Writers Project Description & Rubric: for Corridon's English 11 and Porter's English 11 + Porter's Annotated Works Cited Grading for the Research Project - These are your guides to what goes into the project. Follow it closely to ensure you are meeting the highest standards for your research, writing, and documentation of sources. Please use NoodleTools to properly cite in Modern Language Association (MLA) style all images, database articles, websites, etc. Essentially, anything that is not your own words, thoughts or work must be cited.
This guide is designed to give a brief overview of women writers in America. Here you will find all sorts of materials available through the Oakdale High School Library on female novelists, poets, and playwrights—both classic and contemporary—including reference works, print and electronic books, as well as databases for articles.
Obviously this list isn't exhaustive, so if you feel that there are authors that should be included, please feel free to Schoology message or email me at Renate.Owen@fcps.org.
I will be adding more titles as time permits.
