The Topic Finder is a tool in Gale Databases that creates visual relationships between concepts and terms to assist in narrowing down research topics. To use the Topic Finder, start with a search for a broad research topic.
On the search results page click on the Topic Finder button on the right side of the page. This will take you to the Topic Finder results page where you can select a tile to find more specific results.
The size of an area within Topic Finder (as Tiles) is dependent on how many articles have been found based on the subject(s).
Once you select a tile, the results panel will appear on the right-side displaying article results for that topic. You can also select a more specific category from the tiles within that topic to narrow down results further. Below are the topics within School from the tile above.
The further you click in the grid, the more focused your search will be which will help limit your results to relevant information.
