What is Sora?

Sora is the new eBook and audiobook platform for FCPS!

It is the educational version of Overdrive - the platform that Frederick County Public Libraries uses!

  • Once you check out a book, you have it for three weeks! It is then automatically returned unless you choose to renew. 
  • Read the books on your laptop, Chromebook, or on your phone/tablet using the Sora app.

2. Find my school: https://soraapp.com - then for "set up code," enter fcpsmd

3. Via the phone app - download the Sora app for your platform. Then "find my school" and enter fcpsmd

4. (the BEST way) Access the Sora icon on the CHS Media Center webpage
