Hoopla

Hoopla is an online platform where students or Frederick County Public Library cardholders can

check out and download movies and television shows
add music to their playlists, and
checkout audiobooks and eBooks.

The number of checkouts per month has increased from 10 to 30 during our time in distance learning.

Hoopla
Hoopla Digital allows you 30 checkouts per month. All items are multi-user which means you never have to wait for a title to be available!

Overdrive/Libby

OverDrive is a large collection of eBooks and audiobooks available to any Frederick County Public Libraries card holder or any FCPS student.

Visit the following links to access the collection and learn how to download and read/listen on your devices.

Curbside Pick-up at a FCPL Branch

This page provides both instructions on how to put books on hold for curbside pick-up and links to the different branches (including Thurmont and Emmitsburg!) so schedule your pick-up time.
