American Authors - Biography Research: Research Web Resources

DO THESE if you research on the Web...

1. DO NOT just find one resource on a website and assume it's correct.

2. DO NOT simply click on the first link in a Google Search.

3. DO look at the suffix of a website (.edu and .gov tend to be reliable, vetted resources because they're published by legitimate groups - .org and .com require further examination).

4. DO use multiple web resources to verify information.

5. DO cite ANY web resource you reference in your project.
