Digital Books: FCPL Library Card (Student Success Card)

Student Success Library Card

Any student in Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) can access library resources and materials through Frederick County Public Libraries by using their Student Success Card Account. 

Students will use their FCPS student ID number to 

  • Access eBooks (fcpl.org/download)
  • Use learning resources such as encyclopiedia, journal articles, and test prep (fcpsl.org/lear

To access these materials online: Type 119829 along with your eight-digit student ID number as the username.

  • Then use "student" as the password. 

To change the password and to set a default library location in the future, log in and visit the "personal information" tab. 

**Students who already have a Frederick County Public Library card can keep their card.**

Temporary Online Library Card (non FCPS Student)

Due to the library branch closures, Frederick County Public Libraries is providing increased access to online materials by issuing temporary online cards which will not expire until June 1, 2020.
